So many great people selling beads, the people attending are always so friendly, and I really like Milwaukee. I was relying on my memory, which turns out doesn't have a very long shelf life for certain things. So just recently I've begun keeping notes on the details of what I make. It sure makes it a lot easier to refer back to my notes. Although, I've become very disorganized lately. I have lots of little notes with sketches scattered everywhere. I think I have way too many ideas going on and I'm anxious to keep going. I really like your idea of the journal. I might just have to gather my scattered notes and get then in a journal. It's time to get organized!

I also like your idea of taking jewelry you don't like and figuring out how to change it to what you do like.Jillhttp://greeneyedjill.etsy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543428748040482552.post-53161102653281696752009-11-12T23:06:52.738-08:002009-11-12T23:06:52.738-08:00My condolences......My condolences......Lynniemayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07067747619259213530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543428748040482552.post-21117869088837451632009-09-21T21:31:21.849-07:002009-09-21T21:31:21.849-07:00Awww.... my condolences to you on the loss of your...Awww.... my condolences to you on the loss of your Grandma. Currently, I am waiting on a really cool tool to arrive in my mailbox. It's a special all-in-one tool that Stephanie Eddy (stephanieeddy.com) developed to use with Viking Knit. She even created a way to use the tool to make specially sized bead caps that finish off a piece of Viking Knit. How great is that?! As my darling husband always says, "you can do any job well, so long as you have the right tools." :)BeadsNWirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08736556662344198692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543428748040482552.post-57711288497182525212009-08-15T15:18:00.218-07:002009-08-15T15:18:00.218-07:00Nice post...I carry around a pretty substantial mo...Nice post...I carry around a pretty substantial moleskine journal with blank pages and the nifty little accordian pocket in the back.
In the front half of the journal, I sketch out ideas, which can come from anywhere really...a spiral on a signpost, pattern in someones clothes etc. In the back part I keep sketches with wire gauges and measurements for my core sterling jewellery items.
